Before making a purchase at Sage Tea The Fine Tea Lab, please familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions, including important information regarding orders, payments, delivery, returns, and exchanges to protect your shopping rights.
I. General Terms and Conditions
Services
1.1 By using this website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1.2 Please regularly and carefully review the "Terms of Service," "Order Confirmation Terms," and other related terms on this website. Before using the services provided by this website, please accept and confirm this "Disclaimer." Otherwise, please refrain from registering as a member and using the services on this website.
II. Delivery Arrangements
Order Processing and Delivery
SAGE TEA aims to process and ship your order within 1-3 business days of receipt. Actual delivery times may vary depending on order volume and delivery address.
Packaging Completion Notification
You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order has been packaged. 📦
Scheduled Delivery Date
If you have a preferred delivery date, we will hand over the package to the delivery company at least 2 days in advance to arrange delivery.
Order Tracking
You can track your order on the SAGE TEA website or the logistics company's website using the tracking number.
Inquiries and Modifications
For inquiries or modifications to delivery arrangements, please contact the customer service of the respective logistics company.
Delivery Methods
1. Basic Delivery:
- Kowloon and New Territories: HK$75
- Hong Kong Island: HK$105
- Orders that do not meet the free shipping criteria for Standard Delivery (HK$380 for Kowloon and New Territories, HK$400 for Hong Kong Island) will be charged the basic delivery fee.
2. Standard Delivery:
- Free shipping for orders over HK$380 in Kowloon and New Territories.
- Free shipping for orders over HK$400 in Hong Kong Island.
- Free delivery service is available from Monday to Saturday. You can specify a delivery date (non-urgent orders) in the remarks section (delivery time is between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm, specific time slots cannot be specified). After placing your order, please contact customer service via email at hello@bysage.co or reply to the WhatsApp message confirming your order to confirm the delivery date.
- The daily order cut-off time is 11:30 am. Orders completed before the cut-off time can enjoy next-day delivery (excluding customized products).
3. Premium Delivery:
- Free delivery to a single address on a specified date and within a one-hour time slot for orders over HK$1800.
- If the final checkout amount is less than HK$1800 due to the use of coupons, cash vouchers, point redemption, or adjustments due to out-of-stock items, an additional Premium delivery fee will apply.
- Please complete your order before the daily order cut-off time of 11:30 am and select a delivery date within 180 days from the current date (excluding Sundays and public holidays). If you need to change the delivery date or choose next-day delivery after 11:30 am, Premium timed delivery will be arranged, and an additional delivery fee will be charged.
4. SF Express Cash on Delivery:
- If the customer chooses the SF Express Cash on Delivery option, the shipping fee will be displayed as $0 or free on the order. The actual shipping fee will be based on the package volume and paid directly to SF Express by the customer.
Terms Applicable to All Delivery Methods:
- We only accept deliveries within Hong Kong (excluding outlying islands and certain remote areas; please refer to the "Definition of Remote Areas" for details).
- No deliveries are available on Sundays and public holidays.
- If the delivery address is a hotel, barbecue site, or other non-standard address, or if the delivery building does not have an elevator, you will need to collect the package at the lobby or arrange another nearby location with the delivery driver.
- If the customer is unable to receive the goods and agrees or requests the delivery driver to leave the goods outside the door or in the lobby, please collect them as soon as possible. We are not responsible for any temperature-related issues with the goods arising from this.
- All delivery time slots you select are for reference only. The actual delivery time on the delivery day will be affected by unpredictable factors such as road conditions, traffic, and weather. We will do our best to coordinate with the transportation company, but customers are not allowed to refuse delivery, request redelivery, or request a refund due to delays in delivery by the transportation company.
- If delivery fails due to incorrect address or contact information provided by the customer, the customer's absence at the delivery address, or other customer-related factors, all costs (including the original delivery fee and re-delivery fee) will be borne by the customer.
Inclement Weather Arrangements:
All delivery services will be affected when the Hong Kong Observatory issues weather signals or the government announces "extreme conditions" due to weather. Delivery services may be suspended.
Force Majeure:
We will not be held liable for force majeure events such as natural disasters, fires, accidents, riots, wars, or government policies.
Important Notes:
Please ensure that the delivery address you provide is accurate to facilitate the smooth delivery of your order by SAGE TEA. If you have not received your order within the estimated delivery time, please contact the SAGE TEA customer service team promptly.
